How Refunds Work:

  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days from the approval date.

  • The amount is returned to the original payment method: credit/debit card, UPI, net banking, wallet, or bank account.

  • If preferred, you may choose to receive store credit instead for faster reuse.

This Refund & Return Policy (“Policy”) explains how returns, replacements, and refunds are handled on the Busimart Limited e-commerce multi-vendor platform (“Platform”). By making a purchase, listing products, or using our services, you agree to this Policy.


1. Scope


Applies to all physical and digital goods sold on the Platform by independent vendors.


Vendors may maintain additional policies consistent with this document, but they cannot reduce the minimum rights provided here.


Certain products (e.g., perishable items, hygiene products, custom-made orders, downloadable software) may be non-returnable unless defective.


2. Buyer Rights


Buyers are entitled to receive products that are:


As described in the listing


Free of material defects


Delivered within the stated timeline unless otherwise


Buyers may request a return or refund if:


The item is damaged or defective on arrival


The product received is significantly different from its description


The order fails to arrive within the estimated delivery window (subject to carrier delays) without communications


3. Vendor Responsibilities


Vendors must clearly disclose:


Product conditions, warranties, return eligibility, and restocking fees (if any)


Return address and instructions


Vendors are responsible for:


Inspecting returned goods promptly


Issuing refunds or replacements as approved


Covering return shipping on defective, damaged, or misdescribed items (unless local laws differ)


4. Refund Process


Request: Buyers initiate a return/refund within 7–14 days of delivery (or as required by local consumer law).


Evaluation: Vendor reviews evidence (photos, videos, description) and confirms eligibility.


Return Shipping:


Vendor Fault (defect, wrong item): vendor bears return cost


Buyer Remorse (wrong size, changed mind): buyer pays return cost (if vendor allows such returns)


Refund Timeline: Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after the vendor receives and inspects the item.


Payment Method: Refunds are credited to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.


5. Digital Goods & Services


Non-tangible items (downloads, subscriptions, credits) are non-refundable once delivered/activated, unless:


Access is unavailable due to platform error


The item is defective under applicable law


6. Platform Role


Busimart provides escrow/payment facilitation but is not the direct seller.


Busimart may step in to mediate disputes if:


A vendor fails to respond within policy timelines


Evidence supports buyer entitlement under this Policy


Busimart reserves the right to deduct refunds from vendor payouts where claims are verified.


7. Exceptions


Force Majeure (natural disasters, Conditions, strikes) may delay deliveries and temporarily suspend obligations.


Local consumer laws may provide additional, non-waivable rights; this Policy does not limit those rights.


8. Abuse & Fraud


Buyers or vendors engaging in repeated false claims, unauthorized chargebacks, or abusive conduct may have accounts suspended or terminated.


9. Amendments


Busimart may revise this Policy at any time. Updated versions will be posted with a new “Effective Date.” Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance.
